MDF lacquer

3/4” thick Excel medium density fiberboard (density 32% higher than standard MDF) covered with opaque colored lacquer. 

Specific advantage

Gives the elegance of molded doors and drawer fronts at a lower price than wood. 

Maintenance

For the first 20 days, clean with a sponge and lukewarm water only. This will allow the coating to set permanently. Subsequently, daily maintenance with warm water and mild soap is recommended. Never use abrasive powder or cream. Never use varsol or any other paint solvent; this would damage the lacquer that protects your furniture. Wipe away any liquid quickly.

Warranty

3-years limited warranty against cracking or adhesion failure of the lacquer.

Heritage

MDF wood

3/4” thick MDF Excel made of high density pine fiberboard (density 32% higher than standard MDF). Panels are covered with a thin sheet of wood veneer, stained and protected by two coats of clear lacquer.

Available species : Maple and riftcut oak. 

Specific advantage

Gives the warmth of solid wood at a manageable price.

3/4” thick Select Royal quality MAPLE and RIFTCUT OAK solid wood, stained in more than 10 colors and protected with two layers of waterproof clear lacquer.

Gives all the richness and noble beauty of solid wood.

Maintenance

Wood protected with lacquer:

The first 20 days, clean with a sponge and lukewarm water only to allow the coating to set permanently. Subsequently, daily maintenance with warm water and mild soap. Never use abrasive powder or cream. Never use varsol or any other paint solvent; this would damage the lacquer that protects your furniture. Wipe away any liquid quickly with a dry cloth.

Wood protected with oil :

For everyday cleaning use a humid cloth only. For greasy stains, toothpaste or cosmetics, use a non-abrasive watery emulsion liquid detergent with a low wax content. Several neutral cleaners are available on the market.
For maintenance of worn-out or highly exposed surfaces, simply clean with a damp cloth. Let it dry then apply VANICO-MARONYX oiled maintenance product. Pour oil on a cloth and extend to cover the worn-out surface and surrounding surfaces. Leave it penetrate the surface and remove excess with a dry cloth. Rub the affected area with a dry cloth to give the same soft and satiny appearance as the surrounding areas. Wipe away any liquid quickly with a dry cloth.

Porcelain

Porcelain

100% pure porcelain sink. Porcelain is the hardest clay material in the market.

  • Economical.
  • Hard substance resistant to heat and chemicals.
  • Easy care.

Maintenance

Wash with lukewarm water and a sponge using soft detergent. A solution baking soda, in warm water also may remove soap scum and soil. Always rinse with plain water.

Avoid the use of scouring powder, most of them contain hard particles that cause minor scratches. Commercial household or bathroom cleaners may also be used.

You may use chlorine or hydrogen peroxide bleach to remove stains. Do not use these bleaches full strength or let them remain on the surface for more than a few seconds. Rinse the surface thoroughly. 

Quartz

Quartz

This 3/4” thick material is made of 93% selected natural quartz pieces bonded with utra-resistant polyester resin.

Specific advantage

  • The porosity coefficient of quartz is near zero, which makes it safe and hygienic.
  • Resistant to stains, scratches and cracks.
  • The quartz surface is very resistant to heat and most common household chemicals.

Maintenance

For daily care, use warm water and few drops of a neutral PH mild detergent, rince and towel dry. For stains lather up a no scratch bathroom scrub sponge such as Vileda or Scotch Brite with water and few drops of dishwashing liquid, rub lightly then rinse and towel dry. For persistent stains, use Method Daily Granite, sold in large surface stores.

WARNING: Never clean your quartz surface with products that contain Trichlorethane or Methylene chloride, such as paint removers or strippers. Avoid the use of highly aggressive cleaning agents such as oven/grill cleaners and dishwasher polishing agents that have high alkaline/pH levels (pH 8.5 or higher). Products containing oils or powders may leave a residue and should be rinsed off thoroughly. Should your surface accidentally be exposed to any of these damaging products, rinse immediately with clean water to neutralize the effect.
